User types in Merit Palk
There are three types of users in Merit Palk:
Master user
Full-rights (paid) additional user
User with limited permissions (free)
The rights and capabilities of each user type are described below.
Master user
The master user is the company's primary user, who has full rights to use the program. The licence is tied to the master user.
Rights:
Can perform all actions in all menus.
Can invite new users to the company, both free and paid.
Can assign and manage user rights.
Each company can only have one master user.
Full-rights (paid) additional user
The full-rights additional user is a paid user whose rights are set by the master user. A full-rights additional user is granted access to the entire program within the company to which they have been assigned.
In the Merit Palk Pro package, the master user can grant or revoke full-rights access for additional users to various program features and menu options.
User with limited permissions (free)
Adding a limited permissions user is free. A user with limited permissions cannot enter, view, or edit data. The function of the limited permissions user is to change the company's users within Merit Palk (transferring data between users).
A limited permissions user can also, as the company's authorised signatory, activate services in Merit Palk that require authentication (direct bank connections).
