Reduced work capacity settings can be imported into Merit Palk from a CSV file.
If the source data is prepared in Excel, the Excel file (XLS/XLSX) format, it can be easily saved as a CSV file.
This import functionality is available only for users of the PRO package of Merit Palk.
To import reduced work capacity settings, open the menu: Settings → Data import from file → Reduced work capacity settings import

Additional instructions
Column names in the first row of the file may be included or omitted.
If the column names are omitted, all data fields from A to G must be filled.The file may contain empty rows at the end, which the program will ignore.
All columns starting from column 8 will be ignored by the program.
Imported data is matched based on the employee’s personal identification code.
The informational fields (last name, first name) are not used to match the employee, but only as supporting information.
Error report and validation
If the file matches the required structure but the import fails, the user can save an error report to their computer.
The error report shows the reason why each row was not imported.If a new setting is imported with dates that overlap fully or partially with an existing setting for the employee, the new setting will not be imported.
The program does not overwrite existing settings.The import also accepts settings from previous periods (not only from the active accounting month).
